Wrangell Public Schools has adopted Policy Series 5145, which protects against and authorizes the investigation of discrimination on the basis of sex in the District's programs or activities.
Training for the Wrangell Public School’s staff and volunteers is an ongoing effort. Training includes in-house administered training and training with external experts. Below you will find staff required Title IX-related training, as well as training given to our Title IX Coordinator and supporting staff.
Title IX - the Basics is a training module that all employees are required to complete on an annual basis.
Title IX, K-5 is a course for Elementary students, that can be facilitated by Certified Teachers.
Title IX, 6-12 is a course for Secondary students, that can be facilitated by Certified Teachers.
Training is provided to staff using the Safe Schools Curriculum provided by Vector Training, K-12 Edition.
